A prefabricated substation (or simply prefabricated substation) generally consists of a high-voltage compartment, a transformer compartment, and a low-voltage compartment. Prefabricated substations are a relatively simple type of power distribution device. The selection of the transformer section can be handled according to general principles, and the capacity generally does not exceed 1250kVA.
Applications:
Firstly, they are mainly used in urban residential areas and streets during peak electricity consumption periods when voltage increases are needed.
Secondly, they are mainly used for temporary power supply, such as at construction sites where existing buildings require modifications to electrical equipment. Prefabricated substations are also frequently used in field operations, such as at construction sites, docks, and airports.
